Belarusian League for sexual equality "Lambda" (BLL) is the first independent organization in Belarus, that openly proclaimed as the priority of its activity sexual minorities interests lobbying, was founded the 4th of June 1998.

BLL is a non-political non-governmental volunteers' association based on the principles of democracy and humanism. We aim at overcoming stereotypes about LGBT people in the society, realizing human rights, social and cultural-educational programmes.

The most important thing for us is making possible the dialogue between LGBT people and the whole society on the basis of mutual understanding and respect, equality, without prejudices. We achieve our objectives via everyday communications, common work and active participation in public life.
