June 9-16 Participation in III International conference of gay and lesbian culture in Warsaw. The BLL delegation of 10 people have organized " Belarusian Day ".

June The management of radio station "World" have dismissed a mention in the program "Jazz 2 O" about the festival " Belarus Gay Pride-2000 " the program director Julia Pushinskaya and have closed the program.

August Participation in a festival Stockholm Pride. The agreement for cooperation with RFSL (Swedish Gay and Lesbian Association) have been concluded. The implementation of the joint projects have been financed by SIDA (Swedish State Agency for Development).

September 7-9 Organization of the second festival of homoculture " Belarus Gay Pride-2000 ". Most of the events have been prohibited by government.

September 10 Protest in retaliation of the authorities preventing the festival occurred in front of Large Theatre of Opera and Ballet building in Minsk.

September FL editor-in-chief Edward Tarletski have been invited to participate in a book fair in Geteborg (Sweden). Among the visitors from Belarus: Belarusian Popular Front Chairman Vintsuk Vyachorka, film director Victor Dashuk and writer Vasil Byikov.
