17th of January in the Gay-club "Narcyss" (Minsk) HIV-prevention BLL working group conducted an info-evening "AIDS: preventive measures"
8th of March BLL Women department representatives took part in the International Conference "Lesbian Movement perspectives" in Minsk, organized by Republican Youth Female Association "YANA".
On the 26th of March the Court of Pervomaiskii District has heard the claim of Ilya Krachina, BLL Council member and one of the owners of the internet resourse APAGAY (Belarusian web-site for gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transsexuals www.apagay.com) against the foreign company Red Graphic systems for discrimination by the sexual orientation.
In April-May BLL's "Train of Tolerance" went to stop in 12 Belarusian towns: Vitebsk, Moguilev, Orsha, Shchutchin, Baranovichi, Pinsk, Lida, Mozyr, Brest, Hrodna, Slonim, Soligorsk with a program of lectures, seminars, educational and cultural events.
17-23 May BLL representatives participated in th International Conference "Media and Xenophobia" in Tabor (Czech Republic), organized by EYFA network (see http://www.eyfa.org/Tabor-May.htm). BLL representative made a report "www.apagay.com as an example of alternative interactive LGBT media in Belarus", later published in the conference materials booklet.
9th of June Tatiana Zaitseva made a report "Sexual orientation and attitudes in Belarusian youth circles" at the working group "Gender and Culture" in the framework of the International scientific and educational forum "Europe-2004" organized by European Humanities University in Minsk.

11th of September Minsk gay-club "Babylon" hosted BLL's grandiose drag-queen show 1st National competition "Alternative Miss Belarus".
8th of October BLL representatives informed USA Embassy about the facts of sexual minorities discrimination and rights violation in Belarus. The information was included in the annual report of the USA State Department on the human rights situation in the world.
5-7 of November the first Belarusian Social Forum, co-organized by BLL, took place at the "Stayki" sports center near Minsk. Altogether, about 150-200 persons took part in the event. One of the 12 working groups, "Minorities rights movements in Belarus" was prepared and moderated by the BLL International Secretary Sergey Torpachev. More details at the BSF web-page.
17-21 of November in Minsk the International conference "No Culture Without Subculture" took place, organized by EYFA network (Netherlands), Navinki Media Center team, BLL and some other Belarusian NGOs. More detail on www.eyfa.org/subculture
4th of December BLL organized an action "Gays and Lesbians against AIDS" in "Babylon" gay club in Minsk
