7th of November 2006 BLL took part in the Great October Revolution anniversary celebration meeting. One of the results of that historical event of 1917 was decriminalising of homosexual relations. Soviet Russia became the 2nd state in Europe (after the French Republic) which abolished this article in their Criminal Law. |

in Warsaw BLL Chair and International Secretary met OSCE representatives, informed Dennis van der Veur, ODIHR tolerance monitoring officer about the situation with the LGBT rights situation in Belarus and arranged for the further cooperation. |

In April-May 2006 BLL was actively involved in co-organizing the next in turn conference in the framework of Belarusian Social Forum, which took place on 19th-21th of May near Minsk (see more details at http://www.navinki.net/bsforum)
